Acrylic on bamboo board. I made this mandala over the summer in Portugal, inspired by the colours of all the vibrant sunsets I experienced living by the ocean. While mandalas are supposed to be perfectly symmetrical, the strokes on this one are more free handed intentionally to imitate the patterns of flowers.
